About Us

In 2004, I was sitting in the pub having a drink with my friend Paul Clarke. We were listening to LBC radio, the topic of conversation being about how the young were travelling abroad and getting plastered on cheap drinks.

The Internet back then was flourishing...Paul was sort of ok with the World Wide Web... so I dragged him from the pub table and we went to the nearest Internet café.

GetPlastererd.com sadly was taken by somebody in Doncaster/Yorkshire, so we walked back to the pub for a rethink.

Half an hour later we returned to the Internet café and this time struck it lucky... www.PlasteringLondon.com was born!!

My name is Rad Caushllari, still plastering about, and Paul has gone back to his homeland stealing tyres...that's Liverpool by the way ;)

We don't usually employ plasterers unless we are too busy - normally a good labourer, is transformed into a good, honest and cheerful plasterer within 2-3 years, capable of driving around London with his own tools and knowledge

Plastering is hard work, a highly skilled trade that sometimes doesn't get the recognition it deserves. People forget that we have to cover for the mistakes of the bricklayer/chases of the electrician and uneven ceilings of the carpenter... Every day is different, with its own problems but the satisfaction is there every day when the room is finished. We do this job as we love it - done it for some 20 years and will continue to do so.

Rad running the London MarathonNot many fat plasterers around ;) we can run! And without much exercise and training as I did in april 2011, raising £1750.00 +£450 gift aid for the Leukemia Care Charity, money from my clients, my workers and myself. We intend to do our bit for charity in the years to come.
